Etsy Batch Costing
A single-item calculator tells you about one product. Pricing decisions get made across a whole catalogue — and the products that quietly lose money are the cheap ones nobody thought to check. Paste your list (or copy straight out of a spreadsheet) and every row comes back with the Etsy fees, the profit and the effective fee rate, priced by the same engine as the single-item calculators. Export the lot as CSV.
Your products
Copy a block of cells straight from Google Sheets, Excel or Numbers and paste — tab-separated works the same as comma-separated.
Which columns does it expect?
Required: sku, item_price, shipping, cost. Optional: country (default US), qty (default 1), gift_wrap (default 0), personalisation (default 0), oa (default: ads counted). Column names are case-insensitive and spaces, underscores and hyphens are ignored, so Item Price, item-price and item_price all work. Rows with a problem are flagged on that row and left out of the export rather than silently priced wrong.
What each product makes
Why price a catalogue instead of one product at a time
The cheap rows are the ones that hurt
Fixed fees — $0.20 to list, $0.25 to take payment — do not shrink with price. On a $5 item they are 9% of the price; on a $100 item, under half a percent. A catalogue view shows which rows are carrying that weight.
Fees are not the same as margin
A product can have a healthy markup and still lose money once listing, transaction, processing and the regulatory fee are taken off. The effective rate column is the honest number: total fees as a share of the item price.
One engine, so the numbers agree
Every row here is priced by the same fee engine the single-item calculators use, with the same verified 2026 rates. Nothing is re-derived on export — the CSV carries the figures the engine produced, so the file and the page cannot disagree.
How the rows are priced
Each row is one sale of one product, and every fee that applies to it is computed from the same rate schedule as the rest of the site. A row with qty: 5 is treated as five units sold from one listing, which means the $0.20 listing fee is charged five times — not once. A row with gift_wrap or personalisation adds that amount to the transaction-fee base, exactly as Etsy does.
| Column | What it is |
|---|---|
sku | Your own identifier. Carried through to the export so you can match rows back to your listings. |
item_price, shipping, cost | What the buyer pays for the item, what they pay for postage, and what the sale costs you. |
country | The country your bank account is in — it decides payment processing and the regulatory operating fee. Defaults to US. |
qty | Units sold from this listing. The listing fee scales with it; the per-order fees do not. |
gift_wrap, personalisation | Extra charges the buyer paid. Both are part of the 6.5% transaction-fee base. |
oa | Whether this sale is Offsite-Ads attributed. Blank or yes counts the fee; no prices it as an organic sale. |
Questions
How many rows are free?
The first five valid rows are priced, shown and exported at no cost — enough to check a small range or try the tool on real numbers. Rows from the sixth on need a licence key. Your key is validated against this site and then remembered for seven days, so the tool keeps working while you are offline or if the API is briefly unreachable.
Is the CSV the same as what the page shows?
Yes, and that is deliberate. The export does not recompute anything — it reads the figures the fee engine returned for each row. If a number ever looked different between the table and the file, that would be a bug, not a rounding choice.
Are the rates current?
The engine behind this page carries Etsy's 2026 schedule, including the 22 June 2026 regulatory operating fee changes. Every rate is on the rate reference with its effective date and change history. Rates are checked against first-party sources; the signup on every page sends one line if a rate moves.
What about a product I sell in several currencies?
Price each currency as its own row. The row's country is where your money lands, not where the buyer is, and the currency conversion fee (2.5%) applies when the listing currency differs from your deposit currency — that is a per-listing setting rather than something this table can infer, so add it only if it applies to you.
Something here disagree with what Etsy actually charged you? Check the rate reference first, then email [email protected]. Wrong numbers are treated as bugs, not feedback.
